Dhurandhar: The Revenge has taken the box office by storm since its release last week and has broken almost every Hindi film opening record. The focus now is on what kind of records it will break and what standards it will set for absolute performance. No prizes for guessing that it will definitely become the highest-grossing Hindi/Bollywood film of all time. One benchmark it is eyeing is Rs. 1000 crore nett. Also, can it possibly take over Pushpa: The Rule as the highest-grossing film in India? At this point the answer appears to be yes and maybe.
By its second Friday, the film had collected Rs. Earning around Rs 606 crore in Hindi. Based on Friday’s earnings, the film should be able to collect more than Rs. 150 crore nett, potential Rs. Historical multiplier figures aside, if we look at the trajectory of the film, it grossed around Rs. Should be. Earning of Rs 725-735 crore after second Sunday.
