Love Insurance Company: Pradeep Ranganathan’s romantic sci-fi set to release in April
Vignesh Shivan’s Love Insurance Company starring Pradeep Ranganathan has set a new theatrical release date. After several delays, the romantic science-fiction drama will release in theaters in April 2026.

After months of delays and changes in dates, there is finally clarity in sight Love Insurance Company (LIK). The Pradeep Ranganathan-starrer directed by Vignesh Shivan is now set for theatrical release on April 3, bringing much-needed relief to fans tracking its uncertain journey.
On Wednesday, the makers released some new posters to announce the release date. Vignesh Shivan wrote, “It’s going to be a very good Friday. Let us all pray and manifest.”

Initially the film was scheduled to release on October 17, 2025, on the occasion of Diwali. However, plans were modified to avoid a box office clash with Dude, which also starred Pradeep Ranganathan. It then failed to shift to December 2025, before the makers finally confirmed an April release date.
Love Insurance Company It boasts of a strong ensemble led by Pradeep along with Kriti Shetty and SJ Surya. The supporting cast includes names like Gauri Kishan, Yogi Babu, Mysskin and Anandraj, blending experienced actors with new talent.

On the technical front, the film reunites Shivan with composer Anirudh Ravichander, a collaboration that has consistently delivered chart-topping music. The cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman, while the editing is by Pradeep E Raghav. The production design and action choreography are headed by T Muthuraj and Peter Hein respectively.
The film is produced by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan under Rowdy Pictures with the backing of Seven Screen Studios, marking a notable collaboration within the Tamil film industry.
