Director Anil Ravipudi to team up with Jan Nayakan producers for animated film: Report
Director Anil Ravipudi, known for commercial entertainers, is now reportedly making a large-scale animated film.
Given the growing interest in animated storytelling following the success of Mahavatar NarasimhaMany filmmakers and production houses are exploring this genre. The latest name to join the list is director Anil Ravipudi, who is reportedly working on an ambitious animation project.
According to a report by GulteRavipudi has started the initial ground work for the film, which is being backed by KVN Productions. The project is currently in the pre-production stage, with the team focusing on story development, character design and technical planning. Animation projects typically require long development cycles and advanced technology, and sources suggest the film may take a few years or more to complete.

This development has surprised many in the film industry as Ravipudi has made his career making commercial entertainers and comedy-driven films. His move towards animation marks a notable change from his usual filmmaking field and may present a different creative side of the director.
KVN Productions, which has been launching large-scale projects in recent times, is also backing films like Thalapathy Vijay. Jan Naygan and fame Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Adults. While both projects have faced delays in their release timelines, the banner continues to expand its slate with new ventures.
Meanwhile, Ravipudi’s latest directorial Man Shankar Var Prasad GaruChiranjeevi starrer, has performed strongly at the box office and Sankranthi has emerged as a winner.

The director also recently addressed the speculations about his next project with Venkatesh. Putting an end to the rumours, Ravipudi confirmed through his social media that Nandamuri Kalyan Ram will play a key role alongside Venkatesh in the film.
If the animation project goes ahead as planned, it could mark a new phase in Ravipudi’s career as he moves away from his trademark commercial entertainment.
