Actor Rajesh Madhavan’s directorial debut Pennam Porattam was released in theaters on February 13, 2026. Now, a month after its theatrical release, the film is all set to enter the digital space with its upcoming OTT release. here are the details.
Pennam Porattam OTT Release
Pennam Porattam (Girl and the Fool’s Parade) is scheduled to release on the OTT platform Netflix and will start streaming from March 13, 2026. The official update was shared on the social media handles of the platform.
Sharing the post, the team wrote, “Eh Gramathilu Oru Cheriya Rumor Kittiya Mathi, Nattukar Motham Shikar Mode Aavan. (In this village, just one small rumor is enough to make the whole place go into hunting mode.) Watch Pennam Porattam on Netflix in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada on March 13.”

Official Trailer and Storyline of Pennam Porattam
Pennam Porattam is a social satire fantasy drama that deals with themes of absurdity. The film is based in a fictional village called Pattada, a place that is defined by its association with death. The story focuses on Gopalan Master, Charulata and Suttu, each of whom faces harsh judgment and violence from the village.
Through their struggles, the story highlights the plight of marginalized individuals. Suttu finds solace in freedom and decides to leave. However, Charulatha’s future remains uncertain as she is trapped in Pattada’s cycle of violence and injustice.

Pennam Porattam stars Raina Radhakrishnan, Rajesh Madhavan, Subhash Chandran, Shanuj Alanallur, Sathish Pulika, Dinesh Pe Po, Varsha Valsan, Manoj Kumar N, Akshay Vijayakumar and many others in lead roles. Directed by Rajesh Madhavan, this film marks his directorial debut.
The screenplay is written by PT Ravi Shankar, while the voice-over narration is by Tovino Thomas. Additionally, Don Vincent has composed the music track and background score.
The film is produced by Santosh T. Kuruvilla, Binu George Alexander and Sherin Rachel Santosh. Cinematography is handled by Sabin Uralikandi, while Chaman Chacko serves as editor.
