Allu Arjun and director Atlee are all set to hit the big screen soon with their upcoming film AA22xA6. It was initially reported that Sai Abhyankar would be helming the music composition of the film, now the composer has confirmed the same and recalled how he got the project.
Sai Abhyankar remembers how he got Allu Arjun starrer AA22xA6
Speaking at an event to launch his new single, Pavazha Malli, Sai Abhyankar revealed how director Atlee offered him the film after listening to just one song. The composer said, “Allu Arjun sir’s AA22xA6 music composition is currently in progress. However, I want to talk about Atlee Anna right now. When he met me for the first time, I had not signed a single film.”
“I just played a song for them, and the next moment, Atlee Anna asked me, ‘Can you do my next film?’ I was surprised to hear this from him. The musician said, the confidence that Atlee Anna gave me gave a boost to my career and I am forever grateful to her.
Earlier, directors Atlee and Sai were also seen doing a music composition session during Christmas last year. Apart from the Allu Arjun starrer, the musician also has films like Karuppu, D55 and others.

AA22xA6 is an upcoming film starring Allu Arjun directed by Atlee. The film is reportedly based on a “parallel universe” concept and is being set on an ambitious scale. Along with Deepika Padukone as the female lead, the film is also speculated to feature Rashmika Mandanna in an antagonist role. Furthermore, Allu Arjun is expected to play multiple roles in the film.
Although the official release date has not been announced yet, the team of AA22xA6 is expected to unveil the first teaser look on the occasion of the director’s 44th birthday on April 8, 2026.
Allu Arjun’s next film
Allu Arjun will next be seen in the lead role in a film tentatively titled AA23. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the upcoming action will mark the director’s debut in Telugu cinema, with music and background score composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The makers recently unveiled the announcement teaser which includes elements reminiscent of a western genre film.
