Last flight: Musician Santosh Narayanan makes lucky escape amid Middle East chaos
Musician Santosh Narayanan shares his experience of leaving Qatar just before the airports were closed amid rising tensions between the US, Israel and Iran. A few hours later, he confirmed that he had landed safely in the United States.

As tensions rose across the Middle East and airfields were closed one after another, musician Santosh Narayanan described his flight to Qatar as possibly the last one to depart before darkness falls at airports across the region.
Recounting his ordeal on social media on Sunday, Narayanan shared a worrying but grateful update on his way to the United States, amid the escalating US-Israel-Iran conflict.

“My Qatar flight was probably the last one out of the Middle East before the total closure of airports,” he wrote on Twitter.
His post came as several countries in the Middle East closed their airspace after a sharp increase in military activity caused widespread disruption to civilian air travel.
A few hours later, the musician reassured fans and well-wishers by confirming his safe arrival. “I have reached America safely. Thank you for your concerned messages and prayers,” he wrote, much to the relief of those closely following the developments.
