Bharat Electronics per share at Rs. Announced record date for interim dividend of 1.95

State-run defense company Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) on Friday announced a dividend per share for the financial year 2025-26 of Rs. announced an interim dividend of 1.95 and set a record date for Thursday, March 5th to determine shareholder eligibility. The interim dividend will be paid within 30 days from the date of declaration, the company said in a filing to the exchanges.

The dividend record date is the cut-off date set by the company to determine which shareholders are eligible to receive the declared dividend.

The PSU company has declared 51 dividends since August 29, 2003. According to Trendline, in the last 12 months, Bharat Electronics has declared an equity dividend of ₹2.40 per share. At the current share price of Rs 444.70, Bharat Electronics’ dividend yield is 0.54%.

On the NSE on Friday, BEL shares traded at Rs. 444.70, down 4.35 or 1% from Thursday’s close.

Shares of Nifty have done very well on D-Street, returning 74% in the last 12 months. It ranks second in the Frontline index behind Sriram Finas which leads with a return of 78%.

Meanwhile, Nifty and BSE Sensex have returned 12% and 9% in the same period.

Shares of BEL are currently trading at their 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages of Rs. 422 and Rs. are trading above 405, according to Trendlyne.

The defense electronics company reported decent figures for the December quarter. The consolidated net profit of the company increased to Rs. 1,580 crore, compared to Rs. 1,312 crores. This translates to a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 21%. Income from operations rose 24% in the quarter to Rs. 7,154 crores.

Respectively, the profit reported in the September quarter was Rs. 1,287 crore was more than Compared to the previous quarter, the revenue was also Rs. 5,946 crores has increased.

Rs. 139 crore including other income, BEL’s total income for the quarter was Rs. 7,292 crore, which in the corresponding period of the previous year was Rs. 5,957 crores.
