Later, they hosted a celebratory dinner for their friends and family. Before the pre-wedding rituals began, the groom-to-be also enjoyed a game of water volleyball followed by a cricket match. Giving details of the Dear Comrade co-stars’ wedding, India Today reported that the pre-wedding festivities will begin with a mehendi ceremony during the day. To keep the entertainment level high, many artistes have been called. A concert is also expected to be organized on the same night, giving the couple a chance to have a blast together.
According to reports, the Haldi ceremony has been planned for today (February 25, 2026) on the outskirts of the luxurious hotel. An insider close to the couple told the publication that Vijay’s mother and Rashmika’s mother-in-law, Devarakonda Madhavi, will gift traditional heirloom bangles to the bride during the sangeet ceremony. Their heartfelt gesture is a symbol of acceptance, love and family legacy.
While their traditional wedding ceremony will be kept a secret, with only friends and family in attendance, a handful of celebs close to the couple will also be in attendance. These include Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who has already reached the location.
National award winning screenwriter and actor, Rahul Ravindran has also reached Udaipur to witness Virosh’s reunion. After their wedding on February 26, the couple will reportedly host a grand reception in Hyderabad for their industry friends on March 4, 2026.
