The statement read, “Hello, good afternoon. The reports of SLB’s hospitalization are completely false and baseless. There is no truth in them. We request you to refrain from forwarding any such stories, as they have no verified source. Thank you for your understanding.”
His family released a statement which read, “Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is absolutely fine. He has gone for routine medical check-ups and there is no cause for concern. We sincerely appreciate the love, care and concern shown by everyone. Thank you for your continued support and warm wishes.”

Meanwhile, Bhansali’s next film, love and war Now it is likely to be released in theaters in 2027 instead of 2026. The delay is reportedly due to the film’s shooting and post-production taking longer than initially planned, reports Pinkvilla.
