Nvidia is building an AI Superpark in Bengaluru, 25,000 tech experts will come together to build AI for the world
Nvidia is partnering with Bharat1 to launch a large-scale AI superpark in Bengaluru. The Superpark aims to bring together 25,000 researchers, engineers and innovators to develop advanced agentic and physical AI systems for global markets.

Nvidia has announced its partnership with Bharat1 AI Research and Innovation City to set up a large-scale AI Superpark in Bengaluru. The company plans to use this superpark to bring together approximately 25,000 researchers and engineers to create AI solutions for use around the world. The announcement comes at a time when big tech giants like Google and OpenAI have announced their plans to invest billions in India and build AI-related infrastructure and development.

Nvidia’s project will begin with the launch of B1 AI Superpark, a 500,000-square-foot campus in Bengaluru that is already built and operational. According to the company, the facility will serve as the core of a larger 70-acre AI Innovation District, which is expected to grow to 4 million square feet of commercial R&D space over time. The comprehensive AI City is designed to host more than 25,000 AI researchers and engineers working in startups, product firms, applied research labs, and enterprise innovation teams.
The superpark will act as an end-to-end AI ecosystem that will provide high-performance computing, connections to global enterprise customers, and access to long-term capital. Through its collaboration, Nvidia says it will provide access to its accelerated computing stack, AI software platform, and technical expertise, enabling startups to train, test, and deploy advanced AI models at scale.
Additionally, startups operating within the Superpark will be eligible for the Nvidia Inception program, which supports early- and growth-stage companies with technical guidance, infrastructure support, and business connections. The program also connects promising startups with venture capital firms through the Inception VC Alliance, and gives them access to Nvidia’s large network of developers and businesses.
The Big AI City is being described as a digital-physical innovation district, projected to generate approximately one exabyte of 4D data annually for frontier AI research. The infrastructure is said to be designed to support high-density compute workloads, advanced simulations, and large-scale model training, effectively turning the campus into a dedicated AI research and development area rather than just office real estate.
Interestingly, Nvidia’s partnership joins a series of investments being made in India by the US-based tech giant. At the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026 held in New Delhi last week, both Google and OpenAI unveiled major sovereign AI infrastructure plans.
Google announced the “US-India Connect” initiative, a strategic sub-sea cable network that will directly connect India to the US, Singapore and Africa through a new international gateway in Visakhapatnam. The project is part of Google’s broader $15 billion investment commitment aimed at strengthening digital and AI infrastructure across the region.
Meanwhile, OpenAI revealed a partnership with Tata Group to build an “AI factory” infrastructure in India. The scheme will start with 100 MW of compute capacity through TCS’ Hypervault and is expected to grow to 1 GW over time. Additionally, OpenAI is rolling out ChatGPIT Enterprise for thousands of Tata Group employees and has announced new offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai, signaling a deeper operational presence in the country.
