Vijay and Rashmika revealed in their Instagram stories that their wedding will be officially known as “Virosh’s wedding”. The couple shared a personal note explaining that the name was not inspired by planners or family traditions, but by their fans – who had lovingly combined their names into “Virosh” years ago. What started as an identity coined by a fan slowly became a symbol of affection, and now defines this historic moment in their lives.
Vijay and Rashmika’s note read, “Our dearest love, before we make any plans, before we choose anything for ourselves-
You were already there. How lovingly you named us. You called us ‘Virosh’. So today – with full hearts, we come together in your honor. We would like to name it – ‘The Wedding of Virosh’. Thank you for holding us so lovingly. You are a part of us – always. The biggest hug and all the love!”
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna first worked together on the 2018 Telugu hit Geetha Govindam. Their on-screen chemistry soon turned into a fan favorite and they later reunited dear comrade In 2019.
Over the years, dating rumors have persisted, with fans analyzing vacation photos and public appearances for clues. Although both have stated that they are “good friends”, the speculation never subsided.
Vijay is gearing up for several upcoming projects, including VD13 and other high-profile ventures in Telugu cinema.
