Pernod is talking to potential advisers as it weighs the merits of a separate listing for Pernod Ricard India, Bloomberg reported, adding that the consideration is at an early stage.
Reuters could not immediately verify the report. Pernod Ricard did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The company, which makes brands such as Chivas Regal and Absolut Vodka, is one of India’s largest liquor players and competes with Diageo in the Indian alcohol market.
The news comes as Pernod faces antitrust cases in India and a high-profile case where authorities alleged suspected violations of New Delhi’s liquor rules. The company denies any wrongdoing.
Pernod’s shares in Paris have risen nearly 12% so far this year, valuing the company at about $24.4 billion. The stock lost about 33% of its value in 2025. (Reporting by Chandni Shah in Bengaluru; Editing by Maju Samuel)
