Kiccha Sudeep to reunite with SS Rajamouli in Varanasi: Report
Kiccha Sudeep has reportedly been cast in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film Varanasi. This collaboration revives the excitement after his roles in Eega and Baahubali, pointing towards a significant role.


SS Rajamouli’s VaranasiOne of the biggest Indian film projects currently under production, new speculations continue regarding its casting. The latest buzz suggests that Kiccha Sudeep may play an important role in the film.
If online reports prove to be true, there will be another collaboration between Sudeep and Rajamouli after the casting Eega. Sudeep’s acting in the film left a strong impression and he also played a brief but memorable role in Baahubali: The Beginning. Industry watchers believe that if he is indeed a part of VaranasiThis could be a more significant role, although the makers have not made any official announcement.
During the promotion of his recent release, MarkSudeep, while talking about his approach towards cameo appearances, had said that such roles should have significance and purpose rather than mere appearances. His comments have raised curiosity about his alleged involvement in the film.
Title teaser for Varanasi Earlier, a glimpse of Mahesh Babu as Rudra was shown at several global locations, with timestamps hinting at a possible time-travel element. However, Rajamouli refrained from confirming such theories, saying that the teaser was designed to include clues for the audience to interpret.
The film also stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles, music by MM Keeravani and story by V Vijayendra Prasad. Varanasi is currently scheduled for theatrical release on April 7, 2027.
