2026 could be a big year for Apple. The Cupertino giant is expected to launch several products, doubling its success compared to last year. According to reports, Apple has some big product launches lined up for early 2026, potentially starting with the iPhone 17e later this month.
According to Bloomberg, we can expect to see five new launches in the coming weeks. Apart from the budget iPhone, the company can also launch new MacBook models, which also includes its cheapest MacBook till date. And not only this, the iPad is also expected to get an upgrade. Here are all the details.
1. iPhone 17e
iPhone 17e will be the sequel to the iPhone 16e launched last year. It is expected that this will be the most affordable iPhone of the iPhone 17 series. According to the report, Apple may pack some notable upgrades this time, including the iPhone 17’s A19 chipset.
The iPhone 16e did not support MagSafe, but it appears that the iPhone 17e may be compatible with MagSafe. You can also expect thinner bezels on the display, but the notch may remain in place.
The price of the smartphone in India is expected to remain the same. iPhone 16e was launched in India for Rs 59,900.
2. New MacBook Pro models
Apple may introduce refreshed MacBook Pro laptops with new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The company launched M5 MacBook Pro last year. It is expected that the design of the M5 Pro and M5 Max devices will remain the same.
While the MacBook Pro is expected to get an OLED upgrade in the future, the upcoming models will likely stick to LCD panels for now. The report suggests that the new MacBook Pro models may be released in March this year.
3. M5 MacBook Air
A refreshed MacBook Air with the M5 processor could launch soon after the MacBook Pro models. However the design and other specifications will probably remain the same as the M4 MacBook Air. The price of MacBook Air is expected to remain unchanged, with the current price of Rs 99,900 for the base variant likely to remain intact.
4. New Affordable MacBook
It is being said that Apple has been working on an affordable MacBook for a long time. The report suggests that this low-cost MacBook may be launched in March this year. The Cupertino giant is expected to use the A18 Pro chipset from the iPhone 16 Pro to keep costs down.
The device may come with a 12.9-inch LCD display. You can also get some bright color options like yellow, pink, and blue. The affordable MacBook could be priced at $699 (roughly Rs. 63,400).
5. Refreshed iPad Lineup
Along with a new iPhone and refreshed MacBook, Apple is also rumored to be updating the base iPad and iPad Air. The 12th-generation iPad will likely get the A18 chipset from the iPhone 16, while the iPad Air will get the M4 chipset. However the design of both the devices is likely to remain unchanged.
The 12th generation iPad and M4 iPad Air will likely be released in the first half of 2026. We don’t have any official information about the price yet. For reference, the iPad 11th generation was launched in India for Rs 34,900, while the M3 iPad Air was priced at Rs 59,900.
