Nothing opened its first store in India, said Bengaluru is the biggest market
Nothing has opened its flagship store in Bengaluru, its first outside London. The new store brings a unique layout with dedicated spaces for users to visit.

Nothing has launched its first flagship store in India. Located in Bengaluru, the store features a unique design, with a dedicated space for visitors to walk around and interact. According to the company, this store is bigger than its London flagship store.
The Nothing flagship store has two floors and a total area of 5,032 square feet. The Surface Phone shows off the manufacturer’s entire device range, including its spin-off brand CMF. While the second floor includes a space for visitors to hang out and interact, as well as a professional studio to shoot content.
Why Bengaluru?
During a media session, Nothing CEO Carl Pei revealed that Bengaluru was the company’s largest market in India. As a result the company chose this city for its first flagship store in the country. “(Bengaluru) is the biggest city for our users,” Pei said. He added, “I think it makes sense because there’s a big tech community here.”

Royal Challengers Bangalore will also not be sponsored by anything for IPL 2026.
What can visitors do at Nothing Store Bengaluru?
In the store, visitors will be able to view Nothing’s product range and try out various products including audio devices.

However, the London-based phone maker has added some interesting elements. Some phone users cannot get their name or any other text engraved on their devices. We tried it on our phone 3a unit and this was the result.

When you purchase a Nothing product, you can also get a t-shirt with your name on it. There is also a professional studio as well as a dedicated space for buyers to record the unboxing of their new phones.

There is no thought process behind the new store design
According to Carl Pei, after opening the London store a few years ago, Nothing wanted to try something different with its flagship store in Bengaluru.
He said, “There are two phases of consumer tech retail development. The first is salespeople trying to push products…(the second) is when Apple created the Apple Store.” He added, “Which is more about experience and service and knowledge about the product. And this was 15, 20 years ago. After they did it, everybody copied it.”

Carl Pei stressed that Nothing is expected to do anything different with its new store by bringing more interactive experiences. He added, “So we’re always trying to think about what’s next?”
Pei also revealed that Nothing will open flagship stores in two more cities – Tokyo, Japan and New York, US.
No one wants to partner with Bengaluru community
The store has been designed to be able to host local events. There’s nothing to say he’s willing to work with local artists to display their artwork in the store or host events for the community. The company also aims to tie up with local brands. Visitors can buy coffee from local brands in the store.
In addition to local brands and experiences, the Nothing Store also features elements of the company’s history and some exhibits such as water and scratch testing.

In September last year, Nothing had announced an investment of $100 million in India as part of a manufacturing joint venture. The company has also shifted the headquarters of CMF to the country. As far as the devices are concerned, Pei has previously confirmed that the Phone 4 will not be released. Rather, the upcoming phone 4A series is expected to offer a more premium experience.
