Karan Johar has a warning for couples watching Tu Ya Main on Valentine’s Day
After watching Tu Ya Main, filmmaker Karan Johar posted a detailed review on Instagram. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar and starring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav, the film released in theaters on 13 February.

Johar described you and me As a profound film that left a lasting impression on him even after it ended. He jokingly said that this will make you fear crocodiles everywhere, even in Mumbai traffic.
‘No need for cardio’
In her Instagram post, the 53-year-old wrote, “No cardio required! You’ll physically jump out of your seat during the second half of this painful (in the best way possible) sitter’s edge escape! Swimming pools will never be the same for me again. Never!”
Valentine’s Day warning for couples
He addressed the audience considering planning Valentine’s Day as an option for couples. Johar wrote, “And if you have a partner this Valentine’s… take them to watch #tuyamain and ask them to wear armor because of the fear you will get stuck to them!!! I’m still stressed, and the movie ended 30 minutes early! I feel like a crocodile might come and attack me even in the middle of Mumbai traffic (I’m being dramatic, I know, but this movie made me take extra doses of my BP meds) but have been forced to do so).”
Karan Johar praised Bejoy Nambiar’s direction
The filmmaker gave much of the credit for the film’s effectiveness to its director, saying, “Congratulations to @bejoynambiar for keeping the tension alive with solid craft and technical excellence.”
Special mention goes to Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gaurav
She also commented on the lead cast’s performances, saying, “@shanayakapoor02 is so proud of your choice and your assured, extremely convincing performances and playing Miss Vanity and Miss Insanity (when things get scary and relentless) to perfection! Love you! (sic)”
Johar praised Gaurav Adarsh, saying, “Gauravdarshan you are brilliant as the gully boy and as the crocodile attack victim! I felt every inch of your fear!!! Congratulations.”
Producers also get appreciation
The production team also received recognition, with Johar commenting, “Congratulations @aandlrai! @vinod.bhanushali for supporting and producing this cracker of a chaos breaker! A must watch film in theatres!!! (sic).”
Released on 13 February, this film had competition with Shahid Kapoor at the box office. Hey Romeo!.
