Google has officially revealed its next mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 10a, and confirmed that pre-orders will open globally on February 18, 2026. Ahead of the official launch, the company has now announced that the phone will be available on Flipkart. The e-commerce platform has already gone live with a dedicated microsite teasing the device, confirming that the Pixel 10a will be sold through Google’s own online store as well as Flipkart.

The availability of the Pixel 10a comes after Google previously shared a short teaser video on YouTube. In the video, Google also showed the Pixel 10a in blue and invited users to sign up for a “special offer” before pre-ordering. Notably, the Pixel 10a is arriving ahead of last year’s Pixel 9a, which launched in March.

Expected specifications of Pixel 10a

As to be expected, Google has kept most of the details under wraps until now. However, we already have a first look at the next budget Pixel. Flipkart’s microsite offers the first official glimpse of the design of the Pixel 10a. The phone appears to carry forward the familiar Pixel aesthetic, with a flat metal frame at the back and Google’s signature pill-shaped camera module. This time, the camera island sits more flush with the rear panel, giving the device a cleaner and more seamless look. On the front, the Pixel 10a is expected to feature a hole-punch cut-out for the selfie camera, while the power and volume buttons will remain on the right edge.

Along with the teaser, industry chatter and leaks are painting a pretty clear picture of what to expect. While Google has officially teased the device in a lavender blue shade, which is being called Lavender, leaks suggest additional color options including Obsidian (black), Fog (light green), and a Bright Berry variant with pink and orange tones. Google has consistently used distinctive colors to make its mid-range Pixel phones stand out, and this year looks no different.

On the specifications front, the Pixel 10a is likely to feature a 6.2-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of around 2,000 nits. If accurate, this would make it one of the more compact Android phones currently expected on the market. The phone is likely to be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, the same processor used in the Pixel 9a, although reports suggest it may be a slightly “boosted” version to improve performance. It is expected to be paired with a 5,100mAh battery. While the battery capacity appears to be unchanged, there is speculation that the charging speed may see an upgrade.

The Pixel 10a’s camera hardware is also expected to deliver the familiar Pixel experience. The phone is likely to have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Like previous Pixel devices, Google may rely heavily on its AI-powered image processing to deliver consistent photo quality rather than chasing high megapixel numbers.

On the software side, the Pixel 10a is expected to come with the latest Android 16 experience, along with Pixel-exclusive features. Google has also confirmed plans to expand Quick Share support in 2026, which could make file sharing more seamless across a wider range of Android devices.
