The makers announced the new date, giving the team more time to complete post-production and shoot a pending song.

According to a recent report by Bollywood HungamaThe film could not meet its original release date of 4 March as post-production work was still going on and one song was yet to be filmed. The makers reportedly decided not to rush the process, instead focusing on presenting a great and entertaining final product to audiences.
The sequel marks director Mudassar Aziz’s return to the franchise after his 2019 hit Starring Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar And Ananya Pandey. With a new cast and the promise of even more outrageous comedic situations, the upcoming installment is expected to bring a new twist to the beloved tale.
In October last year, the makers had released the first poster, introducing Ayushmann as Prajapati Pandey and teasing a world full of love, laughter and inevitable marital confusion.
