In late January, Motorola unveiled two mid-range models, the Moto G67 and Moto G77, and two entry-level phones, the Moto G17 and G17 Power. What do you think – could one of these be your next phone or do you have another model in mind?
The Motorola Moto G77 features a 6.78″ 120Hz OLED display, a sharp 1,272 x 2,772px panel with 10-bit colors, HDR support, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It’s great for multimedia, but the Dimensity 6400 chipset isn’t suitable for serious gaming.
The G77’s claim to fame is its 108MP main camera with OIS that has native 3x in-sensor zoom. It can record 1440p @ 30fps videos and is equipped with an 8MP 119° ultra-wide camera. While the UW module isn’t particularly impressive, the 32MP selfie camera (with 1440p @ 30fps video support) is more noteworthy.

The Motorola Moto G67 is basically the same thing, except it doesn’t have the higher resolution camera – it has a 50MP 1/1.95″ main module (no OIS). Well, the chipset is a Dimensity 6300 instead of 6400, but it’s the same silicon, just running at 0.1GHz lower clocked. Realistically, only half the RAM compared to 8GB, a lot more if it’s 4GB. Will have a big impact In terms of performance, at least both phones offer 128GB and 256GB storage options (and in some regions, 512GB) and a microSD slot for more.
The G67 has the same battery as its more expensive brother, a 5,200mAh power cell with 30W charging. Both also have an IP64 rating (dust tight, splash proof), which is pretty basic.

Motorola Moto G67
The Moto G67 4/128GB can be purchased for £200, while the 4/256GB model can be purchased for €260. The Moto G77 8/128GB is £250. In the EU, the 8/512GB G77 costs €300.
The Motorola Moto G17 is a simple 4G phone with the older Helio G81 Extreme (12nm) chipset. It has a 6.72″ IPS LCD, 18W charging, and a 5,200mAh battery with an IP64 rating. The 50MP 1/2.0″ main camera tops out at 1080p @ 30fps video recording and the 5MP ultra-wide is as basic as they come. However, the 32MP selfie camera is a bit of a surprise.

Motorola Moto G17
The Motorola Moto G17 Power upgrades two things. First, memory goes up to 8GB of RAM (up from 4GB) and storage is either 256GB or 512GB (up from 128GB). Both G17 models have microSD slots, so it’s easy to tweak the storage capacity, but the RAM upgrade is notable. And second, the battery on the Power is of 6,000mAh capacity and supports fast 30W charging.

Motorola Moto G17 Power
The Moto G17 Power is priced at €230 for the 8/256GB model in the EU or €150 for the 4/128GB unit in the UK. Meanwhile the Moto G17 8/128GB is €200.
Let’s start with the Moto G77 and Moto G67 – which one do you like better?
