Sunny Deol’s military drama, Border 2 recorded a big decline on its second Wednesday as ticket fares returned to normal. The film declined by 25 percent from Monday and collected around Rs. 3.75 crore to Rs. 4 crores to tally. This brings its second week revenue to Rs. 61 crores nett in India. The film grossed Rs. 50,000 in its second week. Expecting to be around. 63 crores to Rs. 65 crores, it depends on how it goes tomorrow.
Currently stands at Rs. At Rs 268 crore, Border 2 will complete its two-week theatrical run. 270 crore nett or so. Although the film is performing well over the weekend, it did not see much momentum during the weekdays. In fact, weekdays are normal. Nevertheless, Border 2 has already emerged as a clean hit venture. It is now poised to be judged a super-hit, however, it will depend on how it performs in the coming two weeks.
Based on the current trends, the Sunny Deol starrer is looking to rake in its entire theatrical run around Rs. 300 crore figure. It will be interesting to see how far the film can go from there. For now, it has a clean two-week run until O’Romo’s release over Valentine’s Day weekend.
