Border 2 earned Rs. Collected. Earning 20 crores on second Sunday. Along with this, Sunny Deol starrer War film collected Rs. Approximately Rs 46 crore nett. This represents a 60 percent drop from its first weekend, which is a good hold. There was competition from the new release, Mardaani 3, but apart from a few screen cuts, it was hardly any competition, but at this age and stage of the business, it really isn’t needed.
The film crossed the crore mark. It earned Rs 250 crore yesterday, its total box office collection is Rs. Approximately Rs 253 crore nett.
Borderlands 2 got off to a good start last week and then showed an extraordinary trend over the weekend. It looked like it could collect Rs. Rs 500 crore net or more. However, trading declined on weekdays, especially on Wednesdays, effectively ruling out this possibility. There was some concern that the film might fall further, but it stabilized on Friday. After this it increased further over the weekend, Sunday was the second day of Friday.
