Parashakthi OTT release: When and where to watch Ravi Mohan’s period action drama Sivakarthikeyan

Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi Mohan in the lead roles, was released in theaters on January 10, 2026, on the occasion of Pongal. Now, after running in theaters for a few weeks, the film is all set to make its digital debut. Here are the streaming details.

When and where to see Parashakti

Parashakti is scheduled to stream on OTT platform ZEE5 and will start streaming from February 7, 2026. The official list of the film has been spotted on the streaming platform’s website, confirming its digital release.

Official Trailer and Storyline of Parashakti

Set in 1960s Tamil Nadu, Parasakthi tells the story of Chezhaiyan, also known as Che, a young, peace-loving man who works in the railways and is the sole breadwinner of his family. He also takes care of his younger brother, Chinna Durai, who is a college student and activist.

As civil conflict takes center stage, Chinna actively fights against systemic oppression, despite Che’s disagreement with his methods. However, events take a drastic turn when a ruthless police officer named Thirunadan turns up. While serving the government, he uses police brutality to suppress protests.

Amidst these developments, a life-changing event causes a significant shift in Che’s mindset, leading him to stand up to the protest movement that his brother is a part of. How Che’s life develops, his bond with his siblings and the challenges he faces form the core of the film.

Parashakti cast and crew

Parasakthi stars Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, with Ravi Mohan playing the antagonist. Additionally, the film stars Atharvaa Murali, Sreeleela, Kulappulli Leela, Prakash Belawadi, Dev Ramnath, Prithvi Rajan, Guru Somasundaram, Sandhya Mridul, Chetan and many others in lead roles. The film also features cameo appearances by Rana Daggubati, Basil Joseph and Dhananjay.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, the screenplay is co-written by her with Arjun Nadesan and Ganesh, based on a story by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi. Apart from Kongara and Nadesan, the dialogues were written by lyricists Madhan Karky and Shaan Karuppusamy.

With songs and background score composed by GV Prakash Kumar, the film is produced by Akash Bhaskaran under the banner of Don Pictures. Ravi K. Chandran served as cinematographer, while Sathish Surya handled editing.
