The team behind the anticipated four-part biopic series the Beatles has created excitement among fans by unveiling a set of attractive posters. The postcards offer a first look at the actors portraying the iconic band members.

The poster introduces Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, highlighting each actor’s immersion in their respective roles.

These revelations have added to the excitement ahead of the films, which are backed by Sony Pictures and set for global release in April 2028.

In a nod to The Beatles’ roots, the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) shared a post on its Instagram account, featuring Beatles-themed postcards sent to officials and later hidden for students to find.

Promotional material emphasizes the actors’ musical personalities, with Dickinson symbolizing Lennon’s creative energy and Mescal McCartney’s sweet presence. Keoghan appears as Starr, showcasing his rhythmic sense of humor, while Quinn embraces Harrison’s introspective character.

The biopic series is already in production, with the films bringing together a notable supporting cast. Saoirse Ronan plays Linda McCartney, James Norton will appear as manager Brian Epstein, Anna Sawai is set to play Yoko Ono, Amy Lou Wood will play Pattie Boyd, Harry Lloyd will appear as George Martin, and Mia McKenna-Bruce will join forces as Maureen Starkey.

Behind the scenes, Sam Mendes is joined by producers Pippa Harris and Julie Pastor for Neal Street Productions. Sony Pictures President Tom Rothman commented on the uniqueness of the project, noting that its scale and approach are unprecedented in the film industry, and stressed the need for an equally bold release strategy.

The scope and ambition of the project was revealed at CinemaCon last year, where the lead cast was officially introduced along with director Sam Mendes. Mendes addressed the audience, saying, “We’re not making just one movie about the Beatles; we’re making four.” He elaborated on the reasoning behind this unique approach, saying, “Maybe this is a chance to get to know them better.”
