iQOO is preparing to launch two new smartphones soon: one for India, the iQOO 15R, and the other, the iQOO 15 Ultra, for China. iQOO 15R is scheduled to launch in India on February 24. iQOO 15 Ultra will launch in China a little earlier, on February 4. As it often happens, iQOO has shared key details of both the phones to hype it up ahead of the launch. For example, the design of the iQOO 15R has been revealed. The design of the iQOO 15 Ultra is also shown confirming key aspects like the presence of an active fan and shoulder buttons for cooling for gaming.

iQOO 15R launch: What to expect?

iQOO says the iQOO 15R is a “perfect fit power flagship”, hinting that it will pack high-end powerful hardware inside a relatively compact body. “This perfect form factor provides intuitive operation for daily tasks, a natural grip in your palm, and seamless integration into your routine throughout the day,” the company says while keeping specific details under wraps.

Online leaks suggest that the iQOO 15R will come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, while under the hood there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip paired with a 7,600mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. It is said to run Android 16 while for photography, it will reportedly come with dual rear cameras consisting of a 200-megapixel wide and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. The front camera is said to be 32 megapixels.

The iQOO 15R may sport IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The look that has emerged is worth checking out.

iQOO 15 Ultra launch: What to expect

As for the iQOO 15 Ultra, iQOO has confirmed that it will be a gaming phone with powerful hardware including the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and active cooling via a dedicated fan. The phone is also confirmed to have shoulder triggers to improve gaming. It will also feature iQOO’s Ice Dome air cooling system and the proprietary Q3 gaming chip.

According to the leak, the iQOO 15 Ultra may feature a 2K resolution, 6.85-inch flat LTPO display. On the front, it is said to have a 32-megapixel camera. And on the back, it is said to have a triple camera setup, which will consist of three 50-megapixel sensors.

The iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to pack a massive 7,400mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. The device is also expected to feature dual axis motor and dual speakers. On the privacy front, the phone may have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for authentication.

On the color front, the previously revealed teaser of iQOO suggests that the iQOO 15 Ultra will be available in orange and blue colours.
