Oppo unveiled the Reno15 series for global markets on January 1, then launched it in India, including the Pro Mini model, a week later.
Except that this Pro Mini (which is for India) matches the global Pro model. The Pro model in India is instead of the global Pro Max model. Oppo, please… crappy product names aside, these are actually some good phones.
The Oppo Reno15 Pro Max – also known as the Reno15 Pro in India – features a large 6.78″ display (10-bit OLED with 1272p+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate) along with a 6,500mAh battery (80W wired, 50W wireless charging). It is powered by the Dimensity 8450 and has a triple camera – 200MP main (1/1.56″, OIS), 50MP 3.5x/85mm telephoto and 50MP ultra-wide.
The 12/512GB Pro Max is priced at NTD 25,000 in Taiwan, while in India, the Pro is priced at Rs 68,000 for the 12/256GB model and Rs 73,000 for the 12/512GB model.
The global Oppo Reno15 Pro – aka Reno15 Pro Mini – packs a beautiful 6.32″ display (10-bit, 1216p+, 120Hz) and a surprisingly large 6,200mAh battery (80W wired-only charging). It uses the same Dimensity 8450 chipset and the same 200+50+50MP cameras as its max-sized brother.
The Pro 12/256GB is priced at NTD 21,000. In India the same model (as Pro Mini) is priced at Rs 60,000 and the 12/512 GB version is available for Rs 65,000.
Finally, the Oppo Reno15 sits in the middle with a 6.59″ display (10-bit, 1256p+, 120Hz) and a 6,500mAh battery (80W wired-only charging). It teams up with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and has a 50+50+8MP camera including a 3.5x/80mm telephoto module.
The vanilla model starts at NTD 18,000 for the 12/256GB model and there is a NTD 20,000 12/512GB option. In India, these models are priced at Rs 49,000 and Rs 54,000, but there is also a cheaper Rs 46,000 version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
