Celebrity wrestler and actor Dave Bautista recently thanked his co-stars Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown for helping him adopt his fourth dog, Talulah. He wholeheartedly welcomed Talulah into the Pitbull family on Valentine’s Day last year.

Dave Bautista expresses gratitude to Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown

During his appearance on The Tonight Show, Dave Bautista told host Jimmy Fallon that his fourth dog, Tallulah, was successfully adopted last year. Interestingly, Tallulah was named Tallulah Bautista. He expressed his gratitude to both Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown, crediting their important role in adopting Tallulah. Bautista expressed his sincere appreciation for the incredible assistance provided by Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt in finding Tallulah and facilitating the adoption process. Over time, Tallulah Bautista seamlessly blended into Bautista’s Pitbull family, and became an integral part of their lives.

A devoted fan of dogs, Bautista, who already owns three pitbulls, told host Jimmy Fallon how Pratt approached him. “Pratt approached me and said, ‘I know you’re a fan of this breed, and my co-star is trying to adopt him,'” he explained.

“And I said, ‘I’m sorry mate, you know I already have three,'” he recalled, before admitting, “I just kept looking at her picture, and I just… I fell in love with her.”

Dave Bautista recalls his conversation with Chris Pratt

During his appearance on The Tonight Show on Friday, Bautista, 55, shared the heartwarming story of how he adopted one of his four dogs, Tallulah, with the help of Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown. The actor revealed that Pratt, his longtime friend and co-star in Guardians of the Galaxy, found out that Brown, 20, was helping find a permanent home for Tallulah while they were both filming The Electric State together.

So, despite the house being nearly full, it was Batista who decided to bring the white pup home, and Pratt was informed to introduce him to his co-star — whose identity the Dune star didn’t yet know.

He revealed that Chris Pratt told him, “Well, let me introduce you to my co-star Millie,” to which he replied, “Wait a minute — Millie Bobby Brown?” Bautista, recalling the incident, said with obvious surprise in his voice, “No!”

Finally, while working on a movie, Bautista told Brown he would pick up the puppy in a week. She assured him, “Don’t worry, I’ll arrange for someone to drop him off.” Upon returning home, the puppy arrived from Atlanta, and he has been caring for him ever since. Unusually, Dave thanked Milly last February, even though they hadn’t met in person.

Inspiringly, Bautista’s story is a simple reminder of the importance of adoption and the huge impact of kindness and encouragement from peers and friends. By speaking out about his experience, he hopes to dispel misconceptions about pit bulls and encourage others to consider adoption when they bring a new pet into their home.

In short, Bautista’s relationship with Talulah is a monument to the transformative power of love and friendship, highlighting the fact that every rescue dog can find their permanent home with the right assistance. He continues to advocate for animal welfare and uses his platform to spread optimism.
