Parashakthi Worldwide Office Collection: Sivakarthikeyan, Sudha Kongara’s film sees a jump on Pongal, earns Rs 61 crore in 6 days

Parasakthi starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role returned on the sixth day thanks to the Pongal festival. The film registered a good growth of around 60 percent and collected Rs. 6.50 crores. With this its total revenue of 6 days is Rs. Earning Rs 41.75 crore at the Indian box office.

If the film manages to maintain the same pace over the weekend, it can reach close to Rs 1 crore. 60 crore mark at the Indian box office till Sunday. That said, this is easier said than done. While it may not be great, it won’t be terrible either. 

Day-wise box office collection of Parashakti in India:

So far, the film has performed best in its home state, where it has collected Rs. 35.75 crores. This amounts to approximately Rs. meet. 3.75 crore from Karnataka, while Kerala contributed approximately Rs. 1.25 crores. The film also found some audience in the international market, where it grossed over Rs. 200 million. Parashakti’s worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs. 61.75 crores.

Based on current trends, Parashakti is heading towards a disappointing end. This is expected to become Sivakarthikeyan’s second consecutive failure. For those unaware, his last release Madrasi also failed at the box office.
