Honor has officially announced the launch date of its much-awaited HONOR 200 series in India. Arriving on July 18, 2024, this new series will include HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro, which promise to bring new design and AI features. After the launch, these devices will be available for purchase on Amazon, official website and many mainline stores.

The HONOR 200 series will feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved display for immersive viewing. The HONOR 200 Pro will be available in Ocean Cyan and Black colour options, while the HONOR 200 will come in Moonlight White and Black colour options. Both the smartphones in the series will run on MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. The interface is powered by HONOR’s proprietary MagicLM on-device AI large language model.

It is worth noting that the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro are already listed on Amazon India. Customers can click on “Notify Me” to get updates. The listing shows the rear design of the phone, which includes triple rear cameras and 5G connectivity.

Honor 200 series specifications

While Honor hasn’t shared much information about the variants launching in India yet, the series has already launched globally and features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ curved OLED display with a resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The HONOR 200 series highlights its camera capabilities with a triple-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. On the front, the series features a 50-megapixel sensor, which is perfect for selfies and video calls. The phones are backed by a 5,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support, 5G connectivity, and eye protection certification to reduce strain during prolonged use.

Honor 200 series AI features

The HONOR 200 series also features several AI features powered by MagicOS 8.0. One of these features is Magic Portal, which improves user interactions by intuitively understanding messages and guiding users to relevant apps.

Another feature is the Magic Ring, which simplifies multitasking across devices, and supports up to eight concurrent services such as network sharing, screen sharing, and file sharing.

Additionally, there’s Magic Capsule, which provides quick access to essential functions such as calls and alarms, while Magic Anywhere Door offers a streamlined file transfer experience through simple drag-and-drop operations.

It also has a 3-finger swipe feature, which enables global search across different devices with a single gesture, enhancing productivity and convenience.
