Vivek Oberoi boosts excitement for ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ as the film has been listed among the 201 film titles eligible for the Best Picture category by the Academy. Vivek praised Rishabh Shetty and expressed his admiration for the Bhuta Kola tradition.

The Academy has unveiled its list of 317 feature films eligible for consideration at the 98th Academy Awards, with 201 titles eligible for the prestigious Best Picture category. The film stars Rishaan Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah and others in important roles. The film was a prequel to Kantara (2022), also directed by Rishabh, in which he played an important role.
