Victoria Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead inside a San Francisco hotel, police said.
Officers responded to a medical emergency at the Fairmont Hotel, a luxury property in the city’s Nob Hill neighborhood, around 3 a.m. Thursday. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene and found Victoria Jones dead.
Police said the death is not suspicious. The medical examiner is investigating the cause of death.
According to the New York Post, Jones was found on the 14th floor of the Fairmont Hotel by a guest who first thought she had passed out from drinking and alerted hotel staff. Hotel staff immediately began CPR and called an ambulance, but paramedics pronounced him dead upon arrival.
The New York Post, citing the San Francisco Police Department, further reported that police arrived at the hotel at around 3:14 a.m. following reports of a medical emergency. There were no signs of foul play and no drug paraphernalia was found at the scene. The report said there was no indication the death was a suicide. It is unclear whether Jones was a guest at the hotel or how she reached the 14th floor.
Victoria Jones was the daughter of the No Country for Old Men actor and his first wife, Kimberly Cloggly. She also ventured into acting and appeared on screen with her father at an early age. She was known for her roles in Men in Black II, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada and One Tree Hill.
The New York Post reported that Jones was arrested at least three times last year. In April, he was arrested in Napa County on charges of obstructing a peace officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance.
In May, she was arrested in Santa Cruz County, and in June she was arrested again in Napa County on charges of domestic battery and domestic violence or elder abuse before being released on bail. Jones has pleaded not guilty to both Napa County cases, the report said.
