According to Let’s Cinema, the film’s producer Naga Vamsi has officially confirmed that Kingdom 2 has been shelved. Vijay Deverakonda will be seen in the role of an undercover cop in the action thriller film. The announcement ends months of speculation about the project, which had created curiosity among fans. Reportedly, Kingdom was conceived as a high-end film project with franchise potential. Therefore, the closure of its second installment came as a surprise to many as the first film had laid the groundwork for an extended story.
