David Beckham sent love to his 26-year-old son Brooklyn by ditching the 2025 family recap. Reports of a rift within the Beckham family emerged after David and Victoria unfollowed Brooklyn on Instagram.
Former English footballer David Beckham has sent love to his son Brooklyn Beckham amid reports of a rift in the family. Speculation surfaced on the Internet when David and his television personality-singer wife Victoria unfollowed Brooklyn on social media.
The rumors intensified after David omitted Brooklyn from the 2025 family round-up in his Instagram post. However, the former footballer has now sent love to his 26-year-old son. He shared throwback photos of himself with each of his and wife Victoria’s four children on Instagram Stories. In the black-and-white pic with Brooklyn, the 50-year-old captioned, “I love you all so much.”
David’s previous gratitude post on Instagram included Victoria and their three children, excluding Brooklyn. His post read, “I feel very lucky that this year of 2025 has been full of moments for me that I will never forget, from my 50th to a knighthood (still pinching myself) and then ending with winning MLS as an owner, I am so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing kids, my friends and the team I work with every day, nothing would have been possible without you all… but as Sir Alex Ferguson would say “…(heart emoji)…Thank you for the incredible memories, I will always remember 2025…(heart emoji)…@victoriabeckham I love you and our children…(heart emoji)…(sic).”
After David and Victoria reportedly unfollowed Brooklyn on Instagram, Victoria unfollowed both of her parents as well, which is being seen as the clearest sign of ongoing tension within the famous family.
This disconnect extends beyond just Brooklyn. David and Victoria Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, do not follow Beckham, nor do they appear on the accounts Nicola follows. While the couple continues to follow their younger sons, Romeo and Cruz, Brooklyn doesn’t follow either brother, and they don’t follow her back either, a pattern that is also reflected on Nicola’s Instagram account.
No member of the family has given any statement on the alleged rift.
