Esha Deol remembered father Dharmendra while celebrating New Year in Dubai
Esha Deol kicked off 2026 in Dubai by remembering her late father Dharmendra with a touching Instagram post, which drew a reaction from her stepbrother Bobby Deol.
Esha Deol welcomed the New Year in Dubai, but the celebrations came with a quiet, emotional moment. Amidst the festivities and the city’s illuminated skyline, the actress took time out to remember her father, veteran star Dharmendra. His post also received a heartfelt response from his step brother Bobby Deol.
Isha shared pictures from her New Year celebrations on Instagram on Wednesday evening. Her note read, “Stay blessed, happy, healthy and strong. Love you all (sic).”
In one picture, she is looking towards the moon and the shining Burj Khalifa in the background captures the grandeur of Dubai. Dressed in a black and gold dress and a black jacket, Isha was seen pointing towards the night sky. “Love you, Papa,” she captioned one of the photos.
Her half-brother Bobby Deol reacted to the post with a red heart emoji.
Dharmendra died on 24 November at the age of 89. The famous actor is survived by his two wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, as well as his six children, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Esha Deol.
After Dharmendra’s death, the Deol family organized a prayer meeting, which was attended by many Bollywood stars like Salman Khan. Additionally, her daughters, including Hema Malini and Isha, held a separate prayer meeting at their residence, reflecting the family’s personal approach to remembrance and mourning.
