The title announcement teaser sets up tension, creates suspense and raises questions about the film’s possible story. An intrigue-generating scene begins by introducing Chaitra J Achar as Laila and MD Pallavi as her mother Sudha, hinting at the growing tension between them. The teaser then changes to something more abstract – possibly a visual representation of a club where Laila is drunk – before suggesting that she has gone missing, last seen in Bengaluru’s famous nightlife hub Koramangala.

Shaktiprasad, who has previously worked on short films, is making his feature film debut with this project. When asked about the title during a recent press meet, he said, “The title may suggest one thing, but the film inhabits a completely different emotional space,” emphasizing that despite the short name, the film is rooted in emotional storytelling. The story focuses on relationships, especially the relationship between a mother and daughter.

The film’s story moves away from formulaic structures and instead dives into the individual journeys of its characters. The central theme revolves around unspoken emotions and an evolving bond shaped by distance. Shaktiprasad’s decision to avoid familiar storytelling patterns is reflected in both the content of the film and its overall mood.
