Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Box Office Day 5: Kapil Sharma’s comedy entertainer registers 25 per cent rise after discount on Tuesday, crosses Rs 10 crore mark

‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ is estimated to collect Rs 2 crore. It collected Rs 1.25 crore on the first Tuesday, when the ticket prices were reduced to cheaper rates. Marking the return of Kapil Sharma to the big screen, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 has seen a disappointing performance so far. The film not only took a slow start but also did not gain much traction, which could have changed its fortunes at the box office. As of now, the film is heading towards an unfavorable conclusion.

A major reason for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 not doing much at the box office is Dhurandhar’s sensational performance. Furthermore, the comedy entertainer did not receive positive reception from the audience. Had the film received better word-of-mouth, things might have been a little different.

Interestingly, the original part opened at Rs. 7.65 crore in 2015, which is higher than the opening weekend of the sequel itself, even when considered raw and unadjusted for inflation. The first installment performed brilliantly, when the film collected Rs. Earned 24 crores in its first weekend and eventually achieved hit verdict, making the final earning Rs. 42 crores.
