Bad Boys director Michael Bay to collaborate with Bhanushali Studios, AR Rahman
Hollywood director Michael Bay will creatively collaborate with Bhanushali Studios for his first Indian film. The film will be directed by Anthony D’Souza, with music by AR Rahman.

Paparazzo Manav Mangalani shared a note with the brand logo of Bhanushali Studios on his Instagram handle, which read, “Proclaimed filmmaker, Michael Bay is all set to creatively collaborate with Bhansali Studios Ltd for a film directed by Anthony D’Souza with music by maestro AR Rahman (sic)…Bhanushali Studios Ltd under the leadership of Vinod Bhanushali is all set to creatively collaborate with Hollywood’s visionary storyteller, Michael Bay, Who have given us high grossing films.” Bad Boys, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, The Transformers franchise, A Quiet Place franchise And many more.”
The note further reads, “This adrenaline-charged project will be directed by Anthony D’Souza, a filmmaker known for high-end entertainers like Boss, Blue and Azhar. Joining the team is none other than India’s music maestro AR Rahman, who has taken Indian stories and music to the global stage.”
Bay’s filmography includes films such as – The Rock, Armageddon, Transformers, The Island, Pain and Gain, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Ambulance And others.
He also directed the American action film – 6 undergroundWhich includes Ryan Reynolds, Mélanie Laurent, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Adria Arjona, Corey Hawkins, Ben Hardy and Dave Franco. Bay produced it with his longtime business partner Ian Bryce and Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger. The film is based on a group of people who fake their deaths and decide to form a vigilante group to stage a coup against a brutal dictator.
