Balakrishna hopes Akhand 2 will teach Sanatan Dharma, celebrate Chennai roots
At an event in Chennai, Nandamuri Balakrishna shared his views on the upcoming film Akhanda 2, emphasized its role in teaching Sanatana Dharma to the present generation, and talked about his personal and family connection to Chennai and Tamil Nadu.
Nandamuri Balakrishna, while addressing his audience at an event in Chennai on Wednesday, expressed hope that his upcoming film… Akhand 2 Will provide valuable education on Sanatan Dharma to the young generation. He emphasized the film’s intention to showcase traditional values and its relevance today. Akhand 2 All set for a grand release in theaters on 5th December.
He clarified that the upcoming film is not a typical sequel to the 2021 hit film. He said, “This is not a sequel, it is a creation that talks about Hindu religion and culture. It is the victory of our caste and culture. This film is an opportunity for this generation to know about our traditions and Sanatan Dharma. We have shown the power of Sanatan Dharma in this film. We should fight for the religion.”
Reflecting on his relationship with Chennai, Balakrishna said, “It feels like I have come home. I was born here. My thanks to everyone who comes here Akhand 2 events. My thanks to my Tamil friends and fans who are my life. Chennai is my birthplace(birthplace), Andhra is the land of my soul (soul land) and Telangana is mine workplaceMy father NTR spent most of his life here, I cannot forget my father’s friendship and love with Makkal Thilagam MGR and Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan, My father loved Tamil Nadu very much,”

Balakrishna also paid tribute to his father NTR, acknowledging his influence and legacy. He finally said, “My father is my God, he has made films in every way. I am very lucky. It has been 50 years since I have been in cinema. With his blessings, I am still working as a hero. 4 consecutive hit films. Fans are waiting for such films.”
He noted that Akhand 2 Completed in 130 days, he thanked everyone involved and encouraged audiences to watch it.
