Randeep Hooda and Lynn Laishram announce pregnancy on their second wedding anniversary
Marking their second wedding anniversary with an emotional Instagram post, Randeep Hooda and Lynne Laishram announced that they are expecting their first child. The couple shared a dreamy photo of a bonfire and expressed their joy, calling their baby a “little wild one on the way.”
Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and his wife, actor-entrepreneur Lynn Laishram have shared a happy milestone with fans as they have announced that they are expecting their first child. The heartwarming revelation came on their second wedding anniversary, marking a special new chapter for the couple two years after their traditional Meitei wedding.
On Saturday, Randeep and Lynn delighted their followers by posting a dreamy picture on Instagram. In the photo, the couple is seen sitting near a bonfire in the forest, twinning in beige, while smiling warmly at the camera. Along with the image, he confirmed Lynn’s pregnancy with the caption, “Two years of love, adventure, and now a little wildness on the way.”
Randeep and Lynn’s love story began with Naseeruddin Shah’s theater group, Motley, where they first became friends. After a brief courtship, the couple got married in a traditional Meitei wedding ceremony in Imphal, Manipur in 2023. Randeep adopted Manipuri customs and attire for the ceremony, while Lynn looked radiant as a traditional Manipuri bride adorned in elegant gold jewellery. Their wedding was intimate yet lavish, with only close friends and family in attendance.
Reflecting on choosing Manipur for his wedding, Randeep had said, “It sounds great. I felt it was only respectful to get married following the bride’s tradition. However, I heard that in Meitei love marriages the groom has to sit for a very long time. So, that’s something, but I’m looking forward to the ceremony and the traditions. I want to experience my life partner’s culture – that’s why I’m here.”
Lin, who has starred in films such as Om Shanti Om (2007), Mary Kom (2014), umrika (2015) and Rangoon (2017), continues to be active in creative ventures.
Meanwhile, Randeep was last seen Jat As the antagonist opposite Sunny Deol. He will next be seen in the American action-adventure comedy MatchboxDirected by Sam Hargrave and co-starring John Cena, Jessica Biel, Danai Gurira, Teyonah Parris, Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro and Corey Stoll. This film is scheduled to release in 2026.
