Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan is now fully back into politics after completing his pending film commitments. At a recent public gathering he opened up about his brief comeback to cinema and revealed why he decided to call it quits they call him OG Despite planning a political-centric event.

Speaking at the Palle Panduga 2.0 event in Razole, explaining the emotional reason behind the decision, Pawan Kalyan told the crowd, “We could have made a film like OG in 2004 itself, but my priority at that time was society, not cinema. I focused on OG only because you – my fans – felt hurt. You asked me to balance politics as well as films. You said you are unable to keep your head high. So I focused on your I did it for this. Cinema is my livelihood; politics is my responsibility.”

‘They call him OG’Released on September 25, the film is the highest-grossing Telugu film of the year. In the film, Pawan Kalyan plays the role of a former gangster who returns to Mumbai to settle old scores. It is also the Telugu debut of Emraan Hashmi and stars Priyanka Mohan, Shriya Reddy, Arjun Das and Prakash Raj in the lead roles.
