Directed by John Patton Ford, the film centers on Beckett Redfellow (Powell), a young man who is separated from his exceptionally wealthy family after his mother is allegedly deported while she is pregnant. The Redfellow empire is valued at $28 billion, and Beckett believes a portion of it should have been his, until he is reminded that he is now at the bottom of the seven-person line of succession.
What begins as a wild joke that Beckett can easily eliminate the seven relatives standing in his way soon turns into a dangerous plan.
