Marking the comeback of the Raanjhanaa team, Tere Ishq Mein is seeing impressive advance bookings. The Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer musical romance has sold around 17,000 tickets across the top two national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis, on the first day. Out of which PVR Inox has registered about 14,000 tickets.
With just three days left for its release, Tere Ishq Mein has the potential to register unprecedented advance sales of around 60,000 to 70,000 across the national chains, depending on how it maintains the momentum in the last few days. If the film manages to perform at the expected levels, it will earn around Rs. Has the capacity to open. 12 crore to Rs. 15 crores, with higher chances of finishing higher.
Interestingly, the opening day figures of Tere Ishq Mein will be higher than many A-list starrer films released this year. The promising advance bookings of Tere Ishq Mein once again highlight the importance of quality music in our films. Earlier, the result of good music was also seen in Saiyara and Ek Deewane Ki Diwaniyat. Filmmakers should start taking this seriously, as good music not only goes beyond the buzz surrounding the film, but also serves as a key factor for the longevity of the content.
Coming back to Tere Ishq Mein, the Dhanush and Kriti Sanon-led film has good scope to emerge as another clean hit venture at the box office, which the Hindi film industry has not seen much of this year. The only concern for the makers will be the release of Dhurandhar, just a week after this. The future of Tere Ishq Mein will also depend on how the audience takes Ranveer Singh’s film.
