The report indicates that Apple may price the foldable iPhone in the US at $2,399 (approximately Rs 2,15,000). This will make it not only the most expensive iPhone, but also the most expensive foldable smartphone. For reference, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 was launched in the US for $1,999 (roughly Rs. 1,78,000). As such, it seems likely that Apple will charge a hefty premium for its foldable device compared to its peers.
It is likely that the iPhone Fold will be priced higher if the device is launched in India, as is the case with other iPhones.
The report is in line with previous rumors. It was earlier speculated that the iPhone Fold could be priced between $2,000 (roughly Rs. 1,78,000) and $2,500 (roughly Rs. 2,23,000).

The foldable iPhone will be expensive due to the premium components that Apple plans to use. According to the report, the display panel and hinge will push the pricing to the upper end of market expectations.
