After the commercial success of Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas is all set for another franchise. The actor will start shooting for Salaar’s sequel, Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam. Prabhas will start shooting for the film from August 10.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire was a huge success, and it grossed over Rs 700 crore at the ticket counter.

The first part was directed by Prashanth Neel and also featured Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role.

A source told, “During the making of Salaar, Prashanth Neel has already shot 20 per cent of the sequel with Prabhas and Prithviraj. There is a standing set at Ramoji Film City and the journey of Salaar 2 begins with a schedule on this set.”

Prabhas was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, where he shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The film also featured Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan and Kamal Haasan in pivotal roles.
