A unit of Indian conglomerate Adani Enterprises sold 25 billion rupees ($278.9 million) worth of stake in AWL agri business through bulk deals, exchange data showed on Friday.
NSE data showed Adani Commodities, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, sold 39.5 million shares in AWL Agri at Rs 275.09, while BSE data showed it sold 51.5 million shares at Rs 275.
That represents a discount of about 0.6% from Thursday’s close.
The unit held a 20% stake in AWL Agri, as of September 30, representing 259.9 million shares, exchange data showed.
