Excel Entertainment’s war drama ‘120 Bahadur’ is all set to create history by premiering on India’s Raksha Theater Network from November 21. The film will be the first to use PictureTime’s mobile cinema infrastructure to reach military personnel and their families in over 800 defense cinema halls, including remote areas.

According to Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios, the film will be shown in more than 800 defense theaters for soldiers deployed in remote areas and their families. This initiative is being taken by Picturetime in collaboration with Genesink Brat Media.

Sushil Chaudhary, Founder-CEO of PictureTime, said the rollout aims to improve access to cinema among serving personnel, veterans and their families. Chaudhary said that while India has about 1.5 million active troops and the veteran and family audience is about 20 million, only about 30% currently have access to defense cinemas.

Excel Entertainment CEO Vishal Ramchandani said the team welcomed the opportunity for members of the armed forces to watch the film, which focuses on the themes of service and sacrifice.

Screenings of 120 Bahadur will expand to bases and cantonments across the country, aiming to provide a shared cultural experience for soldiers and their loved ones.

‘120 Bahadur’ tells the story of the Battle of Rezang La and stars Farhan Akhtar, Raashi Khanna, Sparsh Walia, Vivaan Bhatena, Dhanvir Singh, Digvijay Pratap, Sahib Verma, Ankit Siwach, Devendra Ahirwar, Ashutosh Shukla, Brijesh Karanwal, Atul Singh, Ajinkya Dev and Ejaz Khan. The film is directed by Rajneesh “Razi” Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Amit Chandra.

The global theatrical release of ‘120 Bahadur’ is also scheduled for November 21, 2025, marking its first notable debut in defense theaters as part of its wider rollout.
