Actor Mahesh Babu’s entry in ‘Varanasi’ program on Saturday evening forced the audience to scream. The actor caught everyone’s attention as he made his entry riding on an electric bull – a reference to the introductory poster of his character Rudra.

Speaking at the event, Mahesh Babu said, “I will make everyone proud! Most importantly, I will make my director proud. After ‘Varanasi’ releases, the whole of India will be proud!”

At the event, director SS Rajamouli praised the actor and said, “On the first day, when Mahesh came in Lord Ram’s getup for the photoshoot, I got goosebumps. I was heartbroken. Mahesh has the charm of Krishna, but the calmness of Ram. Still, I was convinced. I even set that picture as my wallpaper… and then deleted it.”

‘Varanasi’, directed by SS Rajamouli, also stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Chauhan. The film is scheduled for theatrical release in 2027.
