Mahesh Babu remembers father before Globetrotter event: You will be proud Nanna
Actor Mahesh Babu expressed heartfelt memories of his father Krishna while launching SSMB 29 Globetrotter with filmmaker SS Rajamouli and co-stars at a major event in Hyderabad.
Fans of actor Mahesh Babu are excited about the launch of his upcoming film ‘Globetrotter’ in Hyderabad. The event, held at Ramoji Film City, was attended by prominent names from the film industry, including director SS Rajamouli, as well as actors Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Ahead of the grand event, the actor shared a throwback picture remembering his father, Ghattamaneni Shiva Rama Krishna Murthy.
First glimpse of the much awaited film The event was presented to an audience at the venue and via live-streaming on JioHotstar, with thousands of fans joining the festivities online and in person.
Sharing an old picture of himself with his father from the film set, Mahesh Babu wrote, “Thinking about you a little more today and knowing you would be proud nanna (sic).”

Earlier in the year, Mahesh Babu had posted a tribute to Krishna on his 82nd birth anniversary. She shared a black-and-white photo of her father with the message, “Always guided by your light. Happy Birthday, Nanna! Thinking of you today and every day.” Krishna, who debuted with ‘Then Manasulu’ in 1965, acted in over 350 films and was best known for his roles in ‘Goodachari 116’, ‘Mosagallakku Mosagaadu’ and ‘Alluri Seetharama Raju’.
The event itself marked the beginning of an ambitious project for Mahesh Babu, who is reportedly set to portray a character who goes on an adventure full of thrill and discovery. The film, directed by SS Rajamouli, has been in development for two years and fans were eagerly waiting for its unveiling.
Mahesh Babu, while addressing his followers before the event, expressed his gratitude and anticipation for the film’s journey. “For months you’ve been asking, and now the time has come. On November 15, the world will take its first steps into our story. Experience what we’ve been creating with all our hearts,” he said in a message shared on Instagram.
The ‘Globetrotter’ event will be held at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, which will be live-streamed on JioHotstar from 7 pm onwards. The scale of the event underlined the film’s high profile and the excitement it generated in the Telugu film industry and beyond.
