Directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ stars Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. The film marks the first collaboration between Sanon and Dhanush as well as Rai. This film is the third time that Dhanush and Rai have worked together after ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Atrangi Re’.
The first released tracks of the film, including the title track ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ and ‘Usse Kehna’, have received positive response, with the title song reaching over 500 million views on YouTube.
The teaser of the film, released last month, set the tone for a turbulent love story. It begins with a Haldi ceremony featuring Kriti Sanon’s character and Dhanush as Shankar, whose damaged appearance hints at personal turmoil. A voiceover reveals that Shankar has just returned from Varanasi after cremating his father.
During a key moment in the teaser, Shankar confronts Kriti’s character and says, “Nayi zindagi shuru kar rahi rahi hai, pura paap to dhow le” before pouring Gangajal on her. Flashbacks in the teaser reveal that the characters’ relationship is tinged with violence and addiction.
‘Tere Ishq Mein’ is scheduled to release on November 28. Aanand L Rai last directed ‘Raksha Bandhan’ in 2022.
