Director Maruthi has completed the shooting of ‘The Raja Saab’ with Prabhas. He shared the new poster of the film on social media and described it as a “victory journey”.

Maruti captioned, “23 years ago he took his first step into cinema. Today he completes his journey on the same day in #TheRajaSaab… Blessed and fortunate to be a part of his triumphant journey. Sure Raja Saab will be a different energy altogether… We know love and impatience – and we promise to give nothing but the best. There are more celebratory days ahead for our rebel Lord devotees…(sic).”

The upcoming film uncovers the mysteries of a haunted mansion full of ghosts, ghouls, terrifying creatures, and hidden treasures. The king, who once owned the mansion, does not want anyone else to enjoy his property. Prabhas plays a happy-go-lucky guy in love with Nidhi, who is shocked when he enters the mansion and is faced with much more than just clumps of dust. Sanjay Dutt appears to be the owner of supernatural powers due to his rugged and scary appearance.

The trailer of the film blends humor with magical elements. Apart from the goofy characters, the VFX also depicts the Gothic happenings inside the haunted house. From trying to solve the mysteries of the house to revealing himself to be a mysterious king, the trailer leaves the audience with many unanswered questions.

The upcoming horror-comedy also stars Riddhi Kumar, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandam, VTV Ganesh, Prabhas Srinu, Yogi Babu, Saptagiri, Supreeth Reddy, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Jisshu Sengupta in lead roles.

Apart from The Raja Saab, Prabhas also has ‘Spirit’ with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Fauji’ with director Hanu Raghavapudi and ‘Kalki 2898 AD Part 2’ with Nag Ashwin.
