Dulquer Salmaan shares information about his upcoming Malayalam film I’m Game
As ‘Kantha’ gears up for the release on November 14, Dulquer Salmaan has hinted at his stylish new role in his upcoming Malayalam film ‘I Am Game’.
Actor-producer Dulquer Salmaan, who is currently promoting his upcoming film ‘Kantha’, has given a brief but interesting glimpse of his next Malayalam project ‘I Am Game’. During a recent interview, Dulquer revealed some details about his character before encouraging the interviewer to “stick to Kantha”.

In response, he described his character in the film as “a good one” and “very modern and very clever”, without revealing much about the plot or his role. This comment has sparked curiosity among Malayalam cinema lovers to know more.
‘I Am Game’ is directed by Nahas Hidayat, who is known for his action-packed hit ‘RDX’. The screenplay is written by Bilal Moidu, Ismail Abubakar and Sajeer Baba, while the dialogues are written by Shahbaas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran. Dulquer is producing the film with Jom Varghese under his production banner. Jacques Bejoy will compose the music for the film.
The cast includes Antony Varghese in a key role, with Tamil filmmaker Mysskin making his Malayalam debut. Actors Kathir and Samyukta Viswanathan also star in lead roles. The film, scheduled to release in April 2026, marks Dulquer’s return to Malayalam cinema after the 2023 gangster drama ‘King of Kotha’.
In the same conversation, Dulquer also talked about his upcoming release ‘Kantha’, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj and co-produced by Rana Daggubati. The film, which stars Rana in the lead role along with Dulquer, Bhagyashree Borse and Samuthirakani, is scheduled to release in theaters on November 14. The trailer of the film was released recently and received praise from the audience for its uniqueness.
Dulquer Salmaan is also working on two other Telugu projects. He will be seen in Pawan Sadineni’s ‘Aakasamlo Oka Tara’ opposite Satvika Veeravalli. He is also working on a project with director Ravi Nelakuditi, tentatively titled ‘DQ 41’. The film stars Pooja Hegde alongside Dulquer and GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music for the contemporary love story.
